WCCIS Poor Performance - 13/10/21

We have received reports of performance issues within WCCIS.

We have been working closely with Microsoft on a resolution to the issues identified today and we are implementing some changes tonight. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Update 13/10/2021 16:50

Iā€™m sure everyone is aware that we have made good progress today and many organisations were able to gain access to the system over the course of the day.

Unfortunately we still have some work to do to eliminate the performance issues altogether, as many of you may have experienced issues late this afternoon. So once again we must ask that the system be available to only critical users (eg enquiry teams, EDT, duty teams etc) first thing tomorrow morning.

We will implement a phased ramp up during the morning to safely onboard all users across live sites. This will take place in one hourly slots from 9am ā€“ 11am and the schedule for this was agreed by Service Management Board (SMB) members this afternoon.

SMB members will be updating their local organisations when end users are able to log into the system.

Once again we thank you for your continued patience and support as we work together to implement this significant system upgrade.

Update: 13/10/21 11:10

We have continued to work closely with Microsoft throughout last night and this morning to implement a number of changes.

The system remains available to critical users (eg enquiry teams, EDT, duty teams etc) this morning. A phased ramp up will take place this afternoon to safely onboard all users across live sites.

This will take place in one hourly slots from 1pm ā€“ 3pm and the schedule for this was agreed by Service Management Board (SMB) members this morning. SMB members will be updating their local organisations when end users are able to log into the system.

Once again we thank you for your continued patience and support as we work together to implement this significant system upgrade.

Update: 13/10/21 10:00 It is imperative that all users to remain logged out of the system this morning, with the exception of the Critical Enquires Teams at each local organisation. We are continuing with performance changes together with Microsoft and SysGroup today, due to the issues it is imperative that the users are kept to an absolute minimum to ensure continued access.

Please be aware that users will be audited to establish who is using the system during this time, so unless you are a member of the Enquires Teams please do NOT use the system, until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to thank you for your continued patience and support. Please can we ask that this message be passed on to any of your staff who may of been affected.
